Tropical splendor was the theme at a recent
20th anniversary party at CBS' Studio City, where more than
200 Survivor alums gathered together to celebrate.
Here are a few survivors at the party -- some of whom will
be featured on Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains,
premiering at 8 p.m. Feb. 11.

To mark 10 years and 20 cycles of the still-popular desert
island reality game CBS invited every single castaway to a
reunion party at a soundstage at CBS Television City. Danni
Boatwright came, with her NFL husband Casey Wiegmann. The
Tonganoxie winner of “Survivor: Guatemela” was the only
one of three area finalists to attend.

Saturday night CBS held a grand party to
celebrate 10 years of Survivor. An estimated 214
former contestants (including the show's original Final
Four) brought their loved ones for a night of long-overdue
reunions and excited first-meetings.

Castaways gather to party, celebrate
show's 10-year anniversary

Survivor Producer Mark Burnett and
CBS are celebrating the show's 20th
season by bringing back 20
contestants to compete on
"Survivor: Heroes vs.
Villains," which will begin
airing Feb. 11. On Saturday, all of
the players who will be featured in
the upcoming season as well as
hundreds of their old tribe mates
— including the original final
four from the first season of
"Survivor: Borneo" —
gathered at CBS's Television City to
commemorate the landmark. |

heaven here in sunny L.A., as CBS's
portion of the semi-annual TV press
tour ended with a full-on reunion of
the castaway class to celebrate the
reality-TV institution's 10th
anniversary. The event, held at
CBS's Television City studios, took
place in a massive soundstage
decorated in full tiki-torch-kitsch
