Sydney Wheeler is the girl next door.
Beautiful and smart, Sydney learned early on to adapt to any
situation after spending her childhood being shuttled
between her conservative parents.
Growing up in Raleigh, North Carolina, Sydney decided to
move out to the west coast to try her hand at modeling and
interior design. She plans to use the skills she's learned
working with different clients to help navigate the social
game of SURVIOR. She's also not afraid to use her looks to
further herself in the competition.
Forced to mature at an early age, Sydney knows what it
really means to live life to its fullest. At age 19 she lost
her sister Laura in a tragic car accident, but throughout it
all has maintained a positive attitude. "God put us on
Earth to do good things, big things and that's what I'm
trying to do and achieve in life."
Sydney knows she can use her winning personality, along with
her beauty, her body and her brains, to charm people.
Wheeler warns, "people stereotype me as just a pretty
face. Don't misjudge me, I'm going win." Sydney is
ready for the adventure SURVIVOR will surely provide.
Sydney is in a relationship and currently resides in San
Diego, Calif. Her birth date is May 11, 1984.

Beautiful. People are gonna judge Sydney. Because typically
on Survivor, if you really pay attention, the hot blonde
woman fades every single time. Sydney needs to break that
cycle. 'Cause otherwise they'll keep her around to look at
and she'll be low on the totem pole and alliance and she's
be middle of the pack...maybe Jury. And you'll forget
whatever her name was...the girl from San Diego who was
really cute.

I moved out to California about
4 years ago...went to school for Interior design at the Art
Institute. And I graduated last year. So I'm working with both
Interior design and doing Modeling. Interior Design is
obviously what I want to do with my life. It's my passion,
it's being creative. But Modeling pays the bills for sure. I
mean it pays really well and it's very easy.
I grew up in North Carolina in the woods...in the sticks,
playing in mud and puddles with friends. 'Course I'm gonna be
scared of spiders under the snake but who isn't, so... We'll
see I mean I think I'm gonna be fine with elements. I really
think it's gonna be people who are gonna get on my nerves and
try to backstab. And so I gotta be the first to backstab them
if I need to so we'll see.
I'm gonna bring a lot to the
group. I'm gonna be athletic...I am not gonna give up because
that's the biggest thing that's...girl's who give up are so
annoying. I'm not like the puny girl who doesn't eat or won't
drink water because it's gross. I'm gonna do what I need to do
to win the challenges and also maybe try to get under
people...people's skin. That's what you're here for...to play
to win. And that's what I plan on doing, whether I gotta lie,
cheat, steal...whatever it takes.
