--------------------
Caller: When Mookie found the
Immunity Idol in Yau-Man's bag and you decided to out him at the
TC, why did ya'll decide to go straight to Yau-Man? Why
didn't ya'll go to Cassandra and Stacy and say, "Hey, look,
he's keeping this from ya'll."
Alex: That might not have been a
bad idea. We thought Stacy and Cassandra were just going
to go right back to camp and confront Yau-Man about it
first. We thought maybe if we could get Yau-Man to agree
to something different first that might work better in our
favor.
DR: It's weird because you don't
know what they heard.
Caller: Alex, I give you a
lot of credit for fighting right to the end. It's great to
see players play 110%. If the circumstances were different
and you were able to make it to the final three, what other two
players would you have chosen to be in the final three with you?
Alex: Good question. If I
could have handpicked people I think it would have been Stacy
and Dreamz.
JM: I agree.
Alex: He's backstabbed so many
people. Whether or not he played the game well, he's a
very physical guy but on a personal level, when you get stabbed
in the back, it's going to be hard for people to vote for him, I
think, at least any of the guys that were in my alliance.
Stacy, just for obvious reasons.
JM: I think Stacy might be on
everybody's ideal final two or three.
DR: I wonder why.
JM: Sometimes things that you
know at camp the viewers can't read off the show. You can
tell when someone has a distaste for someone else. They
don't care if you are poor or rich or anything, they are not
giving you a million dollars.
Alex: I agree.
DR: Who from your season are you
not giving a million dollars?
JM: Christy. I like her now
so please don't send me angry mail.
DR: Alex, you also were once
stirring up stuff about Boo. We heard people talk about
his chatter mouth. How did you feel about Boo? Were
you just playing it up because they started it or was Boo
starting to annoy you out there?
Alex: Boo is a chatty guy but I
think Boo is a good guy. I've got nothing against
Boo. People were starting to badmouth him and what can I
do? I'm trying to survive. In regular life I
probably would have not jumped on that bandwagon.
DR: It came down to Boo and you
in this Immunity Challenge. We're going to run it one more
time because it pains Jenna and Alex to watch it.
<video clip of immunity challenge>
DR: I love when you start digging
the sand onto Yau-Man's court. That was brilliant.
Alex: I just wanted to get the
sand out of my lane. I didn't care where it was
going. I wasn't aiming for Yau-Man.
DR: How long were you digging?
Alex: It seemed forever. 15
or 20 minutes, a half hour? It felt like an
eternity.
DR: Dreamz ripped right through
that.
Alex: That's how this guy has
been playing the game. Do something crazy and it
works.
Caller: How come you never called
out Stacy and Boo for going against your original alliance?
Alex: There was a lot of chaos
when we got back. I really didn't know where anyone
stood. I wasn't in a position to start yelling at
people. I was trying to work as many angles as I
could. Stacy was kind of a messy person to deal with and I
knew that from before. Boo was kind of unstable. I
did what I could with the situation at hand.
Caller: Alex, good game. I
have a question about the way you guys voted off Liliana.
Wouldn't it be better to join Liliana instead of Lisi and
Stacy? You and Edgardo speak the same language. Why did
you choose Stacy over Liliana?
Alex: Liliana early on had been
really tight with Rocky. The fear was that once there was
a merge she would flip over. They were very vocal that
they were very friendly and hung a lot so that's why I sort of
went with Lisi and Stacy. It was Stacy at first and then
Boo. Ed and I were tight from the beginning. Ed
brought in Lisi.
DR: Edgardo said that Stacy
wanted to get rid of Liliana because she wanted to be the
hottest chick on the island?
JM: Is that serious?
Alex: I think so. Sad to
say. I feel like the Liliana vote, for whatever reason,
was based on cattiness. I don't know exactly what was
going on between them or whether it was a camera time thing or
who is the hottest girl on the island. At that point no
one's hot. Come on, we all look and smell really
bad. I think it was just a real personality thing.
Ed might be onto something on that one.
DR: We're going to bring in our
secret guest. First, I want to thank Alex.
Good to have you.
Alex: Thanks.
DR: We want to check out a promo
for next week then we'll come back and go through all our
remaining six with our super secret guest.
<video
clip>
JM: Our secret guest happened to
win Survivor and was also on The All Stars even though he
happened to be on a losing tribe. Even though my season
was hotter than his, we still welcome Ethan Zohn.
Ethan Zohn: It's great to be
here.
DR: We are going to go through
the final six. We're going to give our thoughts on
them. Start out with Boo. My thoughts on Boo, I
don't see him having any shot of winning this game. He's
trying to do a little strategizing.
JM:
He reminds me of Jamie Newton, remember him?
Ethan: I think he has one of the
best beards in Survivor history.
JM: I don't have much feeling for
him. I don't feel like we've seen a lot of him.
Ethan: He's coming alive
now. He just won both challenges. You never know.
DR: We love to see Boo hurt
himself.
JM: The hammock thing was
classic.
DR:
Let's move on to Cassandra. We thought maybe we saw a
little life. She made a smart move when she won the reward
and she brought Dreamz with her. She's at least thinking about
doing some strategizing.
JM: I think she's now maybe
starting to think about winning a little bit. But maybe
she needs to think a little bit more.
Ethan: I don't think she has what
it takes to win. But you do see her planning for the
future by wanting to keep Dreamz in that alliance rather than
Yau-Man wanting to bring someone else in, someone less
threatening, someone easier to vote off. So, she's
planning for the future, planning for the jury.
DR: I can see her very easily
making the final three if someone brings her there but when it
comes to votes...
Ethan: I don't know how her
personal relationships are with everyone else. It doesn't
seem like she's mingling too well.
DR:
For someone who's a follower, there have been some negative
comments that have come through here from Mookie and Edgardo and
even Alex. Let's move onto Jenna Morasca's pick,
Dreamz.
JM: I didn't say win it all, I said
he's going to make it to the finals.
Ethan: There's something to be
said for someone who really has no clue how to play the
game. It's all new for him, nothing makes sense.
He's trying to figure it out as he goes along.
JM: I think he desperately needs
this money. I think he's willing to do whatever it takes
to get it and I like that.
DR: I think Dreamz as a character
is great because of what Ethan said. He's so clueless.
He's obviously never watched the game, he doesn't know what he's
doing. It's like a horror movie.
JM: It works. He's still in the
game and he looks good with his shirt off.
DR: People are going to want to
bring him far with them. We're going from Morasca's pick
to my pick to win the whole thing, Earl.
JM:
Ethan's an Earl fan, also. I love Earl, too, but he's clearly
going to win the game.
Ethan: If he finds this immunity,
he's got two extra clues. Other people have got to be
looking to vote him off, right here, right now. Everybody likes
him on the jury.
JM: I think the only person
that's going to give him a run for his money is Yau-Man.
Ethan: Yes, in terms of likeability.
DR: That's his only competition.
He's not a challenge dominator by any means. He's sort of
a leader, a strategist. He's playing the social game. He's
the guy that's keeping everyone in line.
JM: People love that. They
love to have someone to follow.
DR:
Let's talk about Ethan's choice to win this, Stacy. I could
easily see her making the final three if people want to bring
her there.
JM: Do think she's like a Becky?
DR: People liked Becky,
enough. But people coming through have had very negative
things about Stacy.
Ethan: She's been rubbing people
the wrong way. Look at that one challenge where her name
came up every single time. "Who do you not want to
have dinner with?" They will bring her to the final
three maybe but she won't win.
DR: Is there anyone that Stacy
could beat?
Ethan: Dreamz, probably.
JM: I don't know if she could
beat Dreamz.
DR: I don't think she
could.
JM: Let's hope that maybe this is
just the way that she's playing the game and she's not like this
in real life. It's something to be said for the negative
feelings that people have towards her.
DR: I will say this about Stacy,
I'm very excited to have her on Survivor Live. I really
want to get into a lot of these issues with Stacy.
JM: I think she's going to have a
fun time defending herself.
DR:
Let's go to the man, when I say the man, I mean Yau-Man, who we
all really love and respect. He could get the votes.
JM: He could win this game.
Ethan: Master strategist. I
like his thinking all the time. He's playing for his
future. I respect that and I like the way he's playing the
game.
JM: He's good at
challenges. He's very smart. He thinks things
through. He's very level headed.
DR: He's really the most complete
player. He's doing well in the challenges, well on
strategy, well socially. He handled that moment when Alex
and Mookie confronted him and he turned it around against
them. That was brilliant.
DR: We want thank you guys for
tuning in. Back next Friday with Survivor Live.
