DR: Time for Minus Ten.
We're going to give you ten categories, give me your answer in
10 words or less.
DR: Number 10, flirting
Parvati: great strategy, it
works, use it
DR: Number 9, slicing your finger
Parvati:
painful, scary and gross
DR: Number 8, boxing
Parvati:
amazing, such a release
DR: Number 7, the great Cook
Islands Humpback Whale
Parvati:
hilarious, I was dying laughing
DR: Number 6, Jonathan
Parvati: I respect him as a
worker
DR: Number 5, Alpha Omicron Pi
Parvati: my sorority, the
good old days
DR: Number 4, making the
jury
Parvati: awesome to
be a part of who wins this game
DR: Number 3, Adam
Parvati: my big
brother, big dumb animal and I love him
DR: Number 2, I know you got your
Bachelor of Arts in journalism so give me your thoughts on
Entertainment Weekly
Parvati: an excellent
journalistic piece
DR: Number 1, a Morasca/Parvati
flirt off, who wins?
Parvati: that would be a tie
JM: I think I'm rusty. She
would probably win.
DR: I want to get back to
Adam. You talk about big brother...I don't have a big
brother but if I did I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be caressing my
leg in the shelter especially when he was dating someone else on
the island. What was going on with that?
Parvati: Adam and Candice had
their little island relationship. They wanted to make
babies and have a house with a white picket fence, they said
repeatedly.
DR: Were you the home wrecker?
Parvati: No, absolutely
not. Adam is just a flirty guy. He was throwing it
right back at me. I wasn't about to make out with
him. It's gross, he hadn't brushed his teeth in
awhile. And we'd all been drinking, it was the
merge.
Caller: I wanted to know if you
ever made an alliance with the girls to try to get the guys off?
Parvati: Which girls?
In the beginning when we voted J.P. off we made an alliance with
the girls but that only lasted for that one vote.
DR: Why?
Parvati: Because I knew that we
couldn't survive as a group of girls. We weren't strong
enough as competitors. If we wanted to win challenges we
had to keep the guys on.
DR: We've seen battle of the
sexes before in Jenna's season and Vanuatu and we've seen the
women do as well if not better than the men in those
things.
Parvati: In the beginning there
were a lot of strength and endurance challenges. You saw
Rebecca collapse. We had some little girls. It
didn't make sense to vote off all the guys.
JM: It takes a lot of energy to have an
all woman's alliance. Just from my experience.
Parvati: You gotta keep the guys
around. Who are you gonna flirt with?
Caller: Parvati, I loved the
flirting strategy. If you could pick one of the remaining
survivors to eliminate from the game, who would it be and why?
Parvati: That's hard. I
have a lot of respect for all of the people that are left in the
game for lasting as long as they did. I think I
would choose Sundra to be eliminated simply because she is
the least competitive one out there. She's not really
pulling her weight as far as strategy or competition.
JM: That's what funny about
having this final three thing. Clearly there's going to be
one person that everyone is going to be like, do we really have
to ask them a question. The way it's set up it just seems
like there's going to be one person that everyone knows they
don't even have a prayer.
DR: *cough* Adam *cough*
JM: I didn't say that. I
have been spoiler free this season.
DR: We've talked about
votes. Let's take a look at hatgate last night at Tribal
Council.
<video clip>
Parvati: What was Jonathan
thinking?
JM: He's thinking, "why are
you saying this outloud." And the fact that he
announced that he's taking the hat back.
DR: Parvati called him the puppet
master. Does he deserve that grief? Yes, he's doing
it. Is it justified to be negative?
Parvati: He tried to play down the fact
that he was pulling all the strings. He was controlling
the game at that point.
JM: But don't say two
things. Don't say you want to play with honesty and then,
it's just like just play the game and don't try to explain
it. He wants to be so honest it's almost getting to be
ridiculous.
Parvati: That was his thing the
whole time. He wanted to be the guy who played with
integrity. The guy who played with honesty and he wanted
to make that known to everyone else that he was playing
with.
JM: Meanwhile, Ozzy's sitting
back, "I'm gonna win because this guy is talking to
much."
DR: Let's keep in mind that he
did tell Jonathan, "I want to take you to the Final
2."
Parvati: And that is, I think,
another reason that he brought the hat back.
Caller: Parvati I think that you
played a wicked awesome game. Sixth place out of twenty
isn't that bad. Was Becky as invisible, under the radar as
she appears to be on TV as she was in the game?
Parvati: Becky, I don't think got
enough credit. I think Becky was a sweet girl. When
I chopped my finger off, Becky was there holding my hand and
making me feel so much better, so supportive. I think that
she had a lot of say when it came to Yul and making the decision
on who was going to be voted off. So I think Becky
deserves a little more credit than she has been given.
DR: Becky was a pretty engaging
personality when I spoke to her before the game. I liked
her. I think she's smart.
Parvati: She is tough and she
didn't get enough credit.
DR: She is getting that edit and
every season we see one or two people like this. Bob Dawg
last year got an edit where he wasn't out there a lot but he's a
big personality, so.
Parvati: I think maybe because
Yul was the face of their alliance and that's why.
Caller: Parvati, if you didn't
know who was already in the final three, who would you be
rooting for at this point?
Parvati: Oh, wow.
DR: That's a little dicey.
<Jenna's question of the week>
JM: So, what are you going to do
now?
Parvati: I have a few appetizers
on my plate.
JM: Do you want to be a TV star
or more boxing?
Parvati: I would love to get
involved in hosting. I would really like to do an
adventure travel show. Right now I'm training for a Half
Iron Man that I'm going to do in March.
JM: You should talk to
Ethan. He's in the green room. He just got back from
an adventure race in Malta.
Parvati: I'm doing that and
volunteer work for The Make a Wish Foundation.
DR: Let's take a look at the
promo for the big finale on Sunday.
<video clip>
JM: Now we assume the surprise is
the three [final three twist instead of usual final two]
DR: Parvati's going to have take
the 5th here and sort of be quiet.
JM: We've seen that the surprise
is obviously the final three. Last night Ethan pointed out
that Jeff kind of gave a little hint about the number of days
left, one Survivor. There is a chance, though, for the
possibility of a three way tie. With the people left I
don't think that's possible.
DR: Who do you want to win,
Morasca...
JM: Ozzy.
DR: Who do you think deserves to
win and who do you think will win?
JM: I want the humpback whale to
win and I would like to see that whale. No, I'm
kidding. I think Ozzy should win. It was a tie for
me between Yul and Ozzy but I think Yul is overplaying himself
and I think it's kind of lame and I think Ozzy is kind of taking
the position. I'd like to see Ozzy, Becky and Yul [in
final three].
DR: That's who you want to win,
who do you think will win?
JM: I think, to be honest with
you, I'm going to go with Ozzy because you're going to go with
Yul. The jury has more things to pick on Yul about than
they do with Ozzy. And I think Ozzy will answer his
questions better. Yul will stumble trying to be so
honest. I think he'll stumble over his answers. Ozzy
will be a little more upfront.
DR: Obviously I want Yul to
win.
JM: He was your preseason pick.
DR: I said before the game began,
Yul is gonna win. So it makes me look good. That's
who I want to win. I think he will win. The thing
about Ozzy is, you cannot diss him at all. He is the
dominator in those challenges. He's been awesome and
incredible. But in terms of shaping and controlling the
game, it was Yul. If you're going to look at who shaped
and controlled that game and flipped it with the hidden immunity
idol and did all that work and all that strategizing, it was
Yul's.
JM: But you also have to think
about the jury and how they're going to react which is not
similar to how we're feeling right now. They've had
personal experiences that may have tainted their feelings.
DR: That's always a risk you run
when you're in charge but if you look at Tom Westman, he won
clearly when he was clearly running the show. Now you can
look at the other side and say Boston Rob. Clearly should
have won, clearly didn't.
JM:
Do you think Ozzy and Yul will be in the Final Two? Who
are your Final Three?
DR: Uhhh, I think it will be Yul
and Becky and it's all about Ozzy and if he wins the
challenge. If he wins the challenge he's in, if he
doesn't, I think they will get rid of him.
JM: Could it be Sundra?
DR: I'm gonna...you know
what...I'm gonna throw Sundra in the mix just to mix it up a
little bit. Parvati, looking forward to the reunion?
Parvati: I can't wait. I
haven't seen a lot of these people in a long time.
JM: Probst is gonna dig
deep.
Parvati: It will be dramatic.
DR: Looking forward to an answer
on the Adam/Candice issue. Candice was here on Survivor
Live and had some no harsh words for Adam but not kind
words. Maybe we'll get to the bottom of that.
Survivor will be on Sunday 8 PM til 11. We'll be here
Monday at 2 PM with the people who come in places 2 through
5. Then in studio Tuesday, one whole hour with the
winner. Parvati great to see you.
Parvati: Thanks, good to see you
guys.
