Segment 2:

DR:  In one of your Survivor Insider clips you talked about not lying and playing as honestly as you could.  Let's say your plan did go through and Caryn goes this week then next week you're targeting Tom, obviously you're not going to tell him.  You're going to have to mix it up a little.

Gregg:  You're not going to tell him but Tom's a bright guy and he knows that at that point in the game no one is going to go to the final four with him if they have an opportunity to strike.  I probably could tell him but you're not going to be able to mix things up at this point.  I think you need to hold their hand til the final vote.  While you are there there is this society there and different levels of acceptance with these promises.  Once you step out of the game you can say all is fair in love and war.  It's emotional out there.

Caller:  Why were you so determined to vote Stephenie off when you did?  You had the alliance with Jenn.  If you brought Stephenie along it could have furthered you in the game.  You could have voted Stephenie off at a later time.

Gregg:  I thought about that.  I thought about every permutation and combination.  I didn't have any information on Stephenie.  I had spent 30 days with these people from Koror.  I knew or at least I thought I had a good read on how much I could push them, now much I could trust them.  Stephenie was a wild card.  If I'm going to make a move right there, she could be flip flopping back and forth.  And I'm curious, how did she get all the way through Ulong?  She's a great competitor but I'm cautious of that.  I wanted Koror to keep together.  Unfortunately Coby just dug his own grave and there was no way I could make a case to save him at that point.

JM:  I think they were smart to get Stephenie off.  She's a great competitor but they were smart to get her off.

Gregg:  Whoever wins, at least I can sleep at night.  If there was anyway that, God bless her heart, Stephenie goes all the way and wins, we would all be just regretting it.

JM:  You guys were together so long, we are seeing something very different that we've never seen in another Survivor.  Usually when the tribes merge it's like, "I'll kill my other tribe members".  But you guys wanted to keep it in the family even if you're mad at each other.

DR:  I don't think you were really really pissed off that you got voted out. I think you respected what they did.

Gregg: Absolutely right.  I respected what they did. Outside of the game I'm cool with it.  It's a game, I respect their move but each move you make in this game has implications.  Don't think that TC can come off and I'll be giving congratulations.  After the game I'll shake your hand and give you a hug but I'll lay into you.

Caller:  Why did you go with voting Coby off after you merged?

Gregg:  When I approached him about that alliance at 7 and switching on the others I said "we gotta keep this quiet".  I wanted to judge him, see if I can trust this guy.  To mix things up at the Final 9 is way too risky with someone who is going around yapping. Tom and Ian come to me and I said "let's get Stephenie off".  They said Coby is causing way too much ruckus.

JM:  Caryn is lucky she's stuck around.

Gregg:  Caryn has done really well.  Caryn was next after Willard.

DR:  Great acting job last episode.

Gregg:  I'll give her an Oscar for that.

<clip of Tom, Ian and Caryn strategizing to vote Gregg off>

JM:  I would jump ship before taking a rock.

Gregg:  Tom and Ian have a different perspective because they know they are going to be targets.  They had to make a risky move here to save themselves and props to them for doing it.  Watching that clip, it was intense, I loved it.

JM:  Katie is alot like me.  I never won challenges or did alot of work.  When I jumped ship it was different than someone like you jumping.  There's always someone that's a bigger threat than me.

Caller:  What was Koror's secret for beating Ulong every single time?

Gregg:  When we won that first challenge I think we instilled doubt and controversy in their tribe that they couldn't overcome and it immediately formed this great bond in our group.  If you can keep that bond tight you're on to great things.  You need a feeling of sense, a feeling of unity.  From what I've seen over at Ulong there was no one going "hey, the four of us, the five of us, let's stick together to the end."  Each week everyone felt vulnerable.   You can't perform when the pressure is on.  Everyone's acting under pressure.  We trusted each other.

JM:  It's like Ulong was competing against themselves in the immunity challenges.  You guys were competing as a tribe.  You guys were the underdogs at first.

Gregg:  We trusted everyone.  Everyone played a part.  You feel empowered. You can contribute more, you're confident.  As a result it didn't matter who we threw out there, we were beating them.

Caller:  At the end of the immunity challenge you looked at Tom and Ian and said you said "I'll get you back later" and Tom looked at you and said "no, no I'll get you back".  If Tom had said that to me I wouldn't have been able to sleep that night.  Did that dawn on you at all that you were in trouble?

Gregg:  Looking back on it, that was just classic.  At that point, it didn't register.  He's my buddy out there and I think he's just sticking it to me.  He's always giving you jabs.  I don't think he had any plan going into it.  I think when they got back to camp it was Ian's idea.

Caller:  After watching how Tom played the game, I wanna know why Jenna hates Tom so much.

DR:  I think Jenna's cup of hatery might have gone dry today.

JM:  I never said I hated him.  I just said that I think he should be voted out.  I bash his game because I don't think you should go to your tribe and say "you're winning because of me and don't vote me off".  Don't remind them to vote you off.  I think that he's a major threat. You gotta give him credit that whatever he says everyone is like "yes, Tom".

DR:  Kicking ass in the challenges, showed his strategic wherewithal last night, did alot of camp work, killed a freaking shark.  You even said when he did that, "I can't measure up".

Gregg:  You saw my insider clips.  He killed a shark with a machete.  I've never seen anything like that.

JM:  He's got alot of people under his spell and it works.  Alot of other seasons of Survivor would have recognized him as a threat.

DR:  There have been some comparisons to him and Brian from Thailand who just went through people.  But there alot better players on here than that season.

Gregg:  Koror is filled with alot of bright people.  They are smart people, intelligent, they know the game.

JM:  You can tell that they've watched previous Survivors.
