Segment 2:

JM:  We never found out what Stephenie's favorite twist is.

Stephenie:  I don't really have a favorite twist.  I just thought it was pretty harsh when poor Jonathan and Wanda didn't get picked.  It was good for TV but I felt so bad.

JM:  Bad Survivor player twist, great TV twist.

DR:  I don't buy the BS that it wasn't fair because they were there for 3 days.  Survivor starts the second you get on location.  I've been saying for weeks I never would have let you in the game.

JM:  When you jumped off that boat.

Stephenie:  I said "now I'm totally screwed".  I don't look like a team player, I look like I'm out for myself and I look like a threat almost because I figured I could swim for 2 miles and beat a boat.

JM:  But you are a great swimmer.  Probably one of the best I've seen on all the shows.

Steph:  I feel confident that I could have beaten everybody on my season in swimming but I don't about every Survivor.  I swam in high school.  I played every sport but not soccer.

DR:  The one thing about this season that's been bugging us is that people seemed almost happy to go.  We've had 3 or 4 that basically quit the game.  Janu quit, Jeff quit and Ashlee quit.  Does that drive you crazy when these people just don't want to be there?

Stephenie:  I was like livid.  I lost it completely with Janu.  She just really wanted completely out and I really thought she was going that night.  When they were talking I started to get so upset, it was so embarrassing.  But here I'm on a team and half the team didn't want to be there.  Jeff I really think hurt his ankle.

JM:  I would have dragged that ankle around.

Stephenie:  That's what I kept saying to him.  But he broke it a year prior.  He said he heard it pop.  But Ashlee basically asked us.

JM:  Coby was here and he was like okay with it and talked about the experience.  Maybe I'm an old fashioned Survivor player but experience is like 10%.

Stephenie:  The experience was amazing but I was there to win.  The money would be awesome but I wanted to be the sole Survivor.

Caller:  Stephenie I think you're the new Survivor sweetheart.  Would you trade being one of the most liked Survivors in the history of the game for being the winner of Survivor: Palau?

Stephenie:  Yeahhhh.  Of course I would!  Good question but why...you don't think I'd be liked if I won?   Anything to win.

JM:  I'll sell my own family down the river to win that game.  I was so into it.

Stephenie:  In a second.  I would trade it.

DR:  You can have both.  There are people that have been liked and won.

JM:  Ethan's nice and won.  I'm not, I don't care.

Stephenie:  I never figured in a million years I would be this liked.  I had no idea.

JM:  You're like the Survivor hero.  It's very rare on Survivor that we get a women who's athletic and determined and you had the worst circumstances and still kept your spirits up.  That package is hard to find on this show.

Caller:  How did your initial alliance with Tom come about?

Stephenie:  On day 2 Tom approached me and Ian.

DR:  After the merge did you think that would still be going on?

Stephenie:  I was hoping but 22 days of distance, that's pretty hard to keep that going.

DR:  It seemed like Tom was pretty genuinely honest with you.  He said he would look out for you as much as he can.

Stephenie:  I really thought he was fighting for me but since I watched the show, Gregg was like "no, she's got to go".  And they were like "ok".

JM:  I always pay close attention to how people act at immunity challenges.  At last night's IC with the tiles, people were missing and there wasn't any stress on their faces except for yours.  It didn't look like anyone was really that concerned except you who needed it.  That's where I think you can kinda see tribal dynamics at ICs.

Stephenie:  I noticed and I thought they were purposely not hitting my tiles but everybody was hitting everybody else's.  They wouldn't go anywhere near my color.

Caller:  If you have to pick who would you like to see win, who do you think will win?

Stephenie:  I can't answer that.

DR:  Who would you like to win of the 6 people left?

Stephenie:  One of the guys because the girls are so dumb for not going with an all girl alliance.  So definitely one of the 3 guys.

DR:  Tom, would you want Tom?

Stephenie:  Of the 3 I would want Tom because they're all playing right into his hands so let him have it.

JM:  If he does get to the final 2 he deserves it.  He puppeteered everyone.

Caller:  Back to Ulong, it appeared that James was the leader of that tribe but he seemed to be your weakest player both physically and mentally. Why was he running things?

Stephenie:  I don't know that James was the leader.  He was very verbal.  But I don't think we ever had a leader.  It was a problem and I was so scared to step up and verbally lead but I was so scared that I would be the next to go if something went wrong.  I tried to lead by example.  James had some good ideas but he never finished them.

DR:  He was getting his butt kicked in the challenges.

Stephenie:  Ulong never had to strategize but we were constantly going back to TC so we had to be on our toes.

DR:  James was a lively personality.

Stephenie:  I liked James on the island.  I thought he was so funny.  He was like a breath of fresh air sometimes because it was work, work, work all the time.

Caller:  I think you're a goddess.  Were there scenes cut out that you wish they had shown?

Stephenie:  I like the way that I was portrayed.  I couldn't have paid them to portray me better.  But we went crabbing like very single day.  Climbing cliffs and lifting up big rocks and big crabs would come out and I would clean them alive and we'd cook them.  They never showed that.  I don't know why.  We did everyday.  It was our main source.  I thought it would have been some good footage.

DR:  What about when you got to swim with the jellyfish?

Stephenie:  That was absolutely cool.  I was just happy to win a challenge.  I didn't care what we got but the Pringles and the Mai Tais were really good.

Caller:  If Tom actually makes it the final 2 will you give him your vote even though he crumbled under the pressure of Gregg?

Stephenie:  It would depend on who he was up against.  I really can't say.

JM:  Are you a mean jury member or a nice one?

Stephenie:  I'm pretty mean.  I tried to be nice the whole game but...

JM:  We love mean jury members.

Stephenie:  Coby is hilarious.  You can only imagine what he's got up his sleeve.

JM:  All Stars was the meanest, bitterest jury.

Stephenie:  Ours is going to be pretty good.

Caller:  Congratulations on making it so far.  In the TC where Janu laid her torch down, she said it was for you, you didn't want her to do it for you.  I don't blame her for the way she was treated in that water challenge with Katie laughing at her.  Did you have a relationship at all with Janu and were you surprised when she laid her torch down?

Stephenie:  Janu...I tried to talk to as much as possible when we were back at camp but she was just soooo sick.   I like Janu.  I like her as a person and she did try her best.   She was just physically broken down.

DR:  There's been alot of controversy about Jeff Probst at that TC.  How do you feel about how he handled the situation?

Stephenie:  That TC was forever.  We really thought Janu was going and she was all prepared.  And then when they started talking and it was me I got so upset. I kept rolling my eyes and Jeff called me out on it.  It was nothing against Janu I just can't believe that these people wanted to keep her around. But maybe I would have done it too because it's obviously easier to get a weaker player off later.  When Janu realized she wasn't getting voted off she really had it.  I really don't think she did it for me.

DR:  Some people thought Jeff Probst coerced her into that decision.

Stephenie:  I don't think Jeff did.  Jeff is very clear when he ask questions.

DR:  And the last thing they want is quitters on the show.

JM:  It's getting old.

Stephenie:  It is ridiculous.
